6-7 ounces frozen king crab, thawed and partially drained

Lemon

1 8-ounce package cream cheese at room temperature

1 teaspoon grated onion

1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1/8-1/4 teaspoon curry

Slivered almonds

Break up crabmeat, sprinkle with lemon juice, and mix thoroughly with cream cheese, grated onion, and Worcestershire sauce. Season with curry to taste.

Spoon into heat-and-serve dish and bake at 350° for about 20 minutes, or until bubbly. Sprinkle with almonds and broil until almonds are browned. Serve with crackers.

Yield: 1 pint

Notes:

  1. Went with fresh crabmeat instead of frozen

  2. Used about a tablespoon of lemon juice & a small yellow onion

  3. Decided to add a little extra curry to taste
