Salsa Supreme

Simply Simpático
1 large tomato, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
2 fresh green chiles, chopped (or 1 4-ounce can)
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon monosodium glutamate (optional)
Salt to taste
Combine all ingredients and chill, uncovered, in refrigerator for at least one hour.
Yield: 1 pint
Notes:
Used four stem tomatoes as that’s what I had on hand, and removed the seeds before chopping
Left the MSG out due to personal preference, and decided to crush fresh garlic in place of the garlic salt
Let this sit in the fridge overnight to allow the flavors to develop a bit
